Nicole believes that healing begins by creating a space where clients feel safe enough to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and explore life’s challenges with curiosity and compassion. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with specialized training in somatic psychotherapy, she integrates the wisdom of the body into the therapeutic process, recognizing that meaningful healing happens when the mind and body work together. By exploring the body-mind connection, Nicole helps clients better understand the impact of past experiences, regulate their nervous system, and cultivate greater resilience.

Nicole works with adolescents and adults seeking support for ADHD, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. She also helps clients strengthen boundaries, deepen self-awareness, embrace creativity, cultivate rest, and move toward more authentic and empowered ways of engaging with themselves and others. Her work is grounded in a trauma-informed, social justice-oriented perspective that honors each client’s unique story and lived experience.

Her integrative approach draws from somatic psychology, person-centered therapy, attachment theory, parts work, arts-based therapy, nature-based therapy, and yoga therapy. Nicole thoughtfully tailors each session to meet the individual needs of her clients, creating a collaborative environment where they can safely explore their growth, deepen self-understanding, and build lasting resilience.

Izzy Calcaterra

MA, LPCC

Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate

Counseling for children, adolescents and adults

Izzy provides compassionate, strengths-based counseling to children, adolescents, and adults. She believes therapy should be a space where clients feel seen, heard, understood, and accepted for who they are. With warmth and curiosity, Izzy meets clients where they are and helps them build greater self-awareness, confidence, communication skills, and resilience.

Izzy works with clients across the lifespan and thoughtfully adapts her approach to each person’s unique needs. When working with children and adolescents, she looks beyond challenging behaviors to understand what those behaviors may be communicating. She recognizes that young people often express emotions and needs before they have the words to explain them. Through play and experiential approaches, she helps children and teens explore their experiences, develop healthy coping skills, and strengthen emotional regulation. She also values collaboration with parents and caregivers to support meaningful change beyond the therapy room.

With adults, Izzy offers a supportive space to explore emotions, relationships, self-esteem, communication, and life experiences. She helps clients better understand themselves and their patterns while developing practical tools to navigate challenges and create meaningful change.

Izzy draws from CBT, DBT, person-centered therapy, play and experiential therapy, and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). She thoughtfully tailors her approach to each client’s needs, strengths, and goals.

Outside of therapy, Izzy enjoys strength training, skiing, camping, hiking 14ers, spending time outdoors, and exploring new places.
