About Sophie Wilson

Sophie is a master’s-level counseling intern pursuing her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Colorado Christian University. She is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, develop a deeper understanding of themselves, and build skills for meaningful growth.

Sophie believes every client deserves to feel heard, valued, and understood. She brings a warm, compassionate, and person-centered approach to therapy, thoughtfully considering each client’s unique experiences, strengths, emotions, and goals. She strives to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves, exploring what matters most to them, and developing greater confidence in their ability to navigate life.

Sophie has a particular interest in working with children and adolescents and incorporates creativity, play, and experiential approaches to help younger clients express themselves and engage in the therapeutic process. When working with children, she values collaboration with parents and caregivers, recognizing the important role they play in supporting their child’s growth and well-being. Sophie also works with adults, meeting each client where they are and tailoring her approach to their individual needs. Across ages, she works collaboratively with clients to explore challenges, build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and develop meaningful tools for growth.

Outside of the therapy room, Sophie enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, boating, playing soccer, spending time outdoors, and being with friends and family. She loves animals and finding creative ways to incorporate art, mindfulness, and connection into everyday life.
